filmpro as a concept has been in existence since 2001 but operated as an informal group for the first eight years through director Çaglar Kimyoncu. We incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee in July 2009. 

We support artists who experience exclusion

We provide support services ranging from advice and mentoring through to production and project management.

Our mission is to fill a crucial gap in the arts sector.

We provide a bridge from concept to realisation through comprehensive support, management and production services for disabled artists and any artist who experiences barriers in their practice.

Çaglar Kimyoncu - Founder and Director

Çaglar is a digital and video artist as well as curator. He co-founded and directed (with Julie McNamara) the London Disability Film Festival from 1999-2006. As founder and director of filmpro, he supports, manages and produces the work of a wide range of artists.

 

Karen McDonald - Projects Coordinator

Karen recently completed an MFA in curating at Goldsmiths. Alongside working at filmpro limited she is currently project leader for Salisbury Arts Centre's visual art programme.


Foteini Galanopoulou - Projects Coordinator

Foteini joined filmpro team in 2011. In addition to her days in the studio, she works as a freelance in various creative projects in the UK and beyond.
