Caglar Kimyoncu is founding director of filmpro, a creative filmmaker and curator who programmes film festivals both nationally and internationally. He regularly collaborates with other digital, visual artists and filmmakers, as well as creating his own films and photographic exhibitions. His debut directorial film was imc, which presents the mirror-image experiences of two hospital inpatients trying to retain their privacy, and their identities, in the impersonality of an institutional setting. imc was developed using Caglar's unique improvisatory approach, working without a script but providing provocations, cues and clues that involved the whole creative team.
