A deafened visual artist and creative practitioner in education. My background is in arts, disability equality training and clinical work with adults and children, which puts me in a good position to capitalize on my capabilities, integrate my skills and develop new ways of working to empower others. I view my art as a way to reflect on human and social issues and a means to building bridges.

Hailing from a therapeutic background it is inevitable that, creatively, I explore my emotional responses to outer experiences and negative life challenges.
I often use visualisation in my approach. I practise Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism and this philosophy also informs my methods and goals. I work in an integrative way, using the self of me in my aims for authenticity. I explore the various aspects of myself and others using transformational techniques to elucidate hidden truths.
